Clean and Renewable Energy
Growing with the Times
America needs energy that is secure, reliable, improves public health, protects the environment, addresses climate change, creates jobs, and provides technological leadership. America needs
renewable energy. If renewable energy is to be developed to its full potential, America will need coordinated, sustained federal and state policies that expand renewable energy markets;
promote and deploy new technology; and provide appropriate opportunities to encourage renewable energy use in all critical energy market sectors: wholesale and distributed electricity
generation, thermal energy applications, and transportation.
Clean and Renewable Energy is energy from renewable resources that are naturally replenished on a human timescale. Renewable resources include sunlight, wind, the movement of water, and geothermal heat. Although most renewable energy sources are sustainable, some
are not. For example, some biomass sources are considered unsustainable at current rates of exploitation. Renewable energy is often use for electricity generation, heating, and cooling.
Renewable energy projects are typically large-scale but are also suited to rural and remote areas and developing countries, where energy is often crucial in human development.
Our strategy is par existing clean energy companies with US and state government energy procurement opportunities.
